Nearby Lakes

Square Lake - Square Lake is 10 ha. (24.7 ac.) in size and is located 1 km. (0.62 mi.) east of Pinaus. This small lake supports a good Rainbow fishery for trout up to 2 lbs. Managed as a good quality water, Square Lake is situated amidst beautiful surroundings and like Pinaus is considered an excellent fly fishing lake. A small 7 vehicle BCFS is available at the lake. Cartop boat launching is difficult, but possible. Little Pinaus, another small lake, is found just 1.5 km. (0.9 mi.) to the southeast of Pinaus Lake. Rainbows to 2 lbs. are caught with flies or by trolling small lures, flatfish, or spinning gear. A 3 vehicle BCFS campsite with good cartop boat launching is available.

Lady King Lake - Lady King Lake, is a small lake 6 ha. (14.8 ac.) in size and lies at an elevation of 1036 m. (3398 ft.). The maximum depth is 7 m. (23 ft.) and the mean depth is 3.5 m. (10 ft.). Lady King is within walking distance, just west of Pinaus. Winterkill can be a problem, however aeration systems have been installed and management plans call for 4000 Rainbows to be stocked annually. A quality fly only lake, Lady King supports an excellent Rainbow fishery for trout up to 3+ lbs. Camping is available at Pinaus, Little Pinaus and Square lakes.

Note: Always check your current BC Fishing regulations before you start fishing a new lake.
